The Environment

Citadella Suites is located on the south-western slope of Gellert Hill, on a large, 2,344m2 panoramic plot. There are many historic monuments and locally protected architectural sites ​​in the vicinity.

The plot is located on the south side of Kelenhegyi út, facing the valley. The terrain is sloping, with a difference in level of about 15m. The mature trees in the front garden of the plot will be preserved.

The project

In addition to taking advantage of the panorama and favourable orientation, the investor's goal is to create a state-of-the-art residential house with modern technology and contemporary architectural values, designed to meet the highest customer expectations for luxury real estate.
 
The residential complex consists of two buildings of identical layout and size,  located in front of each other following the slope of the plot and connected below ground level.
 
There is an underground garage on the lower level of building ‘A’, while building ‘B’ is connected to the garage by a pedestrian corridor.
 
In both blocks of flats, there are six flats of various sizes (net 52-149m2) on four residential levels.
 
The apartments have balconies and roof terraces with glass railings on both the slope and the hill side. Larger terraces have been added to the side facing the panorama, while the garden and green roofs are landscaped with intense vegetation.

Location

Citadella Suites is located in the 11th district of Budapest at Kelenhegyi út 44.  It is being built adjacent to the highest point of Gellért Hill, about 500 meters from the Citadella, on the southwest slope of the hill.

GELLÉRT HILL
 
Gellért Hill (235m high) is the easternmost bend of the Buda Hills on the Buda bank of the Danube between the Freedom and Elizabeth Bridges. It is known as the „jewel” of Budapest and has been a World Heritage Site since 1987. Thanks to the thermal springs at the foot of Gellért Hill, Turkish baths were built many years ago of which the domed pool buildings of the deservedly world-famous Gellért, Rác, Rudas and Király Baths have survived.

Gellért Hill was covered with vines until the end of the 19th century. The construction of the hillside began in the 1920s  to which the image of the area is defined by the nearly hundred-year-old, elegant villa buildings with rich ornaments.

Gellért Hill has a stunning, unparalleled panorama, substantial green areas for recreation and relaxation (including playgrounds, bench lined promenades and the Jubilee Park containing outstanding works by 20th century sculptors), as well as close proximity and ease of access to the city center make it one of the most exclusive residential areas of the capital.

CITADELLA
 
The Citadella was built in 1851 as a fortress, which ceased to function after the compromise. There were countless, unsuccessful, attempts in both the 19th and 20th centuries to find a long term use, but the buildings on the hilltop, enriched with the Statue of Liberty, one of the symbols of the capital in 1947, will finally undergo a magical transformation thanks to the latest government plans. A park and a new museum will be created, providing Budapes with ever more world-class attractions.
